A lovely large late Victorian flat back Staffordshire group figurine entitled Fortune Teller, c. 1890s-1900s. It features a woman with a child having her palm read by a lady in a veil who sits beneath an arbor laden with grapes. There are gold bocage accents. Measures 12" high, 8 1/2" wide. It is in very nice condition with fine crazing, which these pieces almost always have, and a minor firing flaw on the back of the fortune teller's head.
