A c. 1880s European ceramic tobacco jar/humidor in the form of an African female head with plaid headscarf. Lovely sculpting and attention to detail. 4 3/4" tall, base size approx. 3" x 3 1/4". Unmarked, but probably German. Excellent condition with small nick at end of scarf as shown.
