C. 1820s-1840s Staffordshire teacup and deep sipping saucer with transferware design featuring what appears to be a goddess stealing the bow from the sleeping Cupid. It has hand enamelled details over the transferware design. The other side of the cup shows a pastoral scene. Saucer is 5 1/2" across. No chips. There is a small firing flaw on the edge of the saucer as shown. This occurred during the manufacturing process and is not damage.
