A pair of c. 1810-30 Staffordshire pearlware pottery figurines depicting street vendors. Each leans against a tree stump with grass and flower details on the base. They both carry baskets of their wares and measure 6 1/2" tall. Hollow bases show small pools of the bluish pearlware glaze.
Condition: boy has early restoration to arm and possibly hat brim with some over-painting to tree stump, small chip on basket, and some loss of cold-painted color. The girl has lost one hand, has some minor chipping on base and bonnet edge, and minor paint loss. Please view all photos. Sold as is.
